During 1964’s Freedom Summer, Boston journalist Laura Stainsby goes undercover in Southeast Georgia to investigate a grudge-match Congressional election between widowed plantation owner Patrick O’Grady and wealthy Cadillac dealer, “Big Billy” Berens.
